Why do we call Spanish Players as Nadal's Lapdogs ?

After Federer's umpteenth demolition of Ferrer, I got curious to see why we always say only the Spanish Players are all only Nadal's lapdogs.

Here are the H2H of Federer/Nadal vs all Spanish players ranked within the top 100 (excluded Federer vs Nadal for this purpose).
