At the same time, 2 more tournaments are held, and on those two tournaments there are players like, Tsonga, Lopez, Cilic, Tomic (Munich) and Del Potro, Gasquet, Wawrinka (Estoril).
Serbia Open highest seeded player is 38th ranked Pablo Andujar! Ok, Nalbandian is playing, even though he is not 20% of what he used to be, it's still pretty cool. Even Tipsarevic and Troicki are not playing!! But this tournament is pretty much like a chalanger... I think even Grand Prix Hassan II from Morocco had better players!
And also, a lot of players who won tournament or played finals (besides Djokovic) like Querry, Lopez, Isner... they don't come back next year?
I think the reason for that is because most of the time Djokovic is playing, and he was suppose to play this year also. So I guess bunch of players were like "why would I play Serbia Open where world No1 Novak Djokovic is playing (since it's his home tournament he is motivated to win it and probably will), when I can play Munich or Estoril, where there are no top 10 players, or maybe 1 or 2 top 20.
