Question thats been bugging me...

Why is it the lower seeds can, and often do, beat the top guys in these lesser, non-major tournaments, but can't beat them in the majors? I see it all the time..

Wozniacki is a perfect example of this. And I just saw Roddick beat Federer the other day in something. Is it because the other tourneys are 2 out of 4 sets instead of 5 and some players are better in the short haul?
