June 26, 2010, 7:02 am - (2 years ago) Just wanted to say that I ordered for the first time with Tennis Warehouse and the experience was great. Prior to ordering with TW I demoed some racquets from TW. I ordered four racquets a couple of weeks ago and they sent them out fast so I got them fast. Two day ground it was and I am about 300 miles from them so it was 2 days as promised. I found out from the demo that I did not like the Pro Kennex Heritage line as I thought I would. At another local retailer I did demo some racquets some weeks back and I found that I like the Volkl PB 10 Light. Thinking that was a fluke I thought I'd demo again. So instead of going through the local guy I'd pay the 10 for shipping and demo four racquets from TW. One was the PB 10 Light and another was the PB 10 Mid Plus just to compare. Also the Wilson BLX Pro Tour and the Head Microgel Radical MP. Turns out that they shipped these fast again. I ended up liking the PB 10 Light as I did before so it was no fluke. The PB 10 Mid didn't do it for me and the BLX Pro Tour was nice but not exactly my cup of tea. I found from the demo that the Head MG was great and half the price as the Volkl PB 10 Light.
I then ordered a Head MG Rad MP and ordered with it some Klip Legend Uncoated Gut 17 to be installed. Got a grommet set for it and some other string sets. I don't think next day delivery is free but second day is with a purchase over $75 which I clearly did. I was fortunate because they sent it overnight. I received it 7:30 this morning. I was asleep but my wife was awake to sign for it, thank God! Leading up to the sale I had called TW many a times with questions about ordering and about products and each time the staff were very polite, knowledgeable and friendly.
I also love this website. The message board s are helpful in my research on equipment. I can read the posts and learn. The way they setup the website for their products is great too.
I know this is a glowing review but I just have to say that TW is a great place for tennis equipment and for knowledge. I will definitely be a return customer. Okay granted it's not often I buy tennis related gear but when the need arises I will do order again from TW.
